The importance of data literacy for project management professionals to drive organizational success
In today’s data-driven world, data literacy has become a key skill in organizations. With the increasing volume of data being generated by businesses, being able to understand and analyze data is becoming essential for decision-making, problem-solving, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Data literacy skills are particularly important for project management professionals as organizational progress and success depends on driving and implementing change through projects.
However, despite digital transformation in organizations and their initiatives to become data-driven entities, the project management space which relies on fast, accurate, and informed decisions hasn’t caught up yet and is rather lagging behind the adoption of data-driven practices.
